Winter Yoga Retreat
with Nicole Lobuzzetta

Friday, February 8 - Sunday, February 10, 2019

In this special weekend long workshop, we will dive into a meaningful Vinyasa yoga practice full of both challenging and restorative asana, breathwork, philosophy and meditation. In the tranquil setting of the Yoga Lodge, we will find time for restoration and rejuvenation, whether through quiet candlelight meditation, misty forest hikes, a sweat in the sauna, or simply the good company of others. Throughout the weekend, nourishing and delicious vegetarian meals will be served, provided by local caterers and using an abundance of local and seasonal ingredients. Winter is a time to look inward and practice deep listening and by creating space for that during our time together, I hope we can all leave feeling more peaceful, connected and alive.

Nicole was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, where she started practicing yoga over 15 years ago as a supplement to her dance training. Yoga became an essential part of her life as a professional dancer; in it she discovered a time to stop pushing, criticizing and judging, and instead cultivate love and appreciation for the transforming power of movement. This relationship has evolved as she has entered motherhood, where the practice has changed but its value and importance in her life has only deepened.

With a degree in Modern Dance and a certification from OmCulture's 200-hour teacher training program, as well as years of experience teaching both yoga and dance, Nicole has developed a deep respect and passion for helping students find ways to connect to their own creativity and prana ,as well as an understanding of yogic philosophy, anatomy, and injury prevention. Her vinyasa-style classes blend creative and challenging flow sequences with moments of gratitude and meditation to cultivate connection, appreciation and honesty of where our bodies truly are and how we face those challenges, ultimately bringing more grace into our lives on and off the mat.
